mnmama asked: My acne is red and bumpy and its sensitive to the touch. I don’t get the whiteness to my pimples they just stay red. I’ve tried everything from presciptions to proactiv I feel like nothing is helping. My face is all dried out from all the stuff i’ve used. I read on another question someone suggested a chemical peel or laser treatment for scars can you get it done for acne too?

Miranda so Masochistic asked: OK so I just started using this new acne medicine last night. It’s not proactive but it’s just like it. I’ve read that your acne will get worse before it gets better. Is this true? And if so, why? Is it because it brings the bacteria to the surface?
Oh, and if it does get worse before it gets better, should I pop the pimples or should I let the medicine do it’s trick?

Princess P asked: I have a job interview in 2 weeks time and I hope to look my best. Any idea what’s the quickest way to improve skin complextion in under 14 days? No botox injections or surgeries please..
Acne’s not the problem. You know you have scars after acne/pimples clears up and there’s like redding underneath the skin? How to lighten the spots?

Steve[n] asked: I got rid of most of my acne using St.Ive’s apricot scrub thingy. Now I’m using it for my pimples, and it’s working, but much slower than the acne. What is the difference between pimples and acne, and is there a way to get rid of pimples faster?

The Luna Divider asked: Like, I’ve never had an acne problem. Never more than a pimple or two on my face, for which I am very glad. And I’m 16! But then I see some guys at school with their face covered in pimples. And most people just fall in between, with enough pimples on their face. What determines how bad your acne is? I know it has to do with hormones and puberty, but do your hormones directly influence the level of acne?
Oh yes I do consider myself lucky, I keep wondering when my luck will run out!
