I have just finished a workshop on fashion consulting and we learned a bit on skin colors and what colors matches them. Basically, there are two undertones: winter and summer(skin) have blue undertones(cool) and spring and fall have yellow undertones(warm).
Autumn skin: golden undertone, ivory, ivory with freckles, peach, golden beige, dark beige(coppery), golden brown. Hair would be: red, coppery red-brown, chestnut brown, golden brown, charcoal black, golden gray, auburn. Matching eyes: dark brown, golden brown, amber, hazel, green with brown of gold flecks, pale, clear green, blue with aqua tone. Colors that would suit this skin: turquiose, orange, gold, emerald, mustard, dk brown, sea blue, clay, banana, royal blue, cream, teal, brick red, moss green, camel, warm beige, olive, celadon, butterscotch, ivory, salmon

Winter skin: blue or blue-pink undertones, very white, beige, brown, rosy biege, olive, black(blue undertones), charcoal with brown freckles. Hair that suit you: blue-black, med brown, dk brown, salt & pepper, silver gray, white blond, white. Eyes: dk red-brown, blk brown, hazel, gray blue, blue with white flecks in iris, dark blue, gray-green, green with whte flecks in iris. Colors that suit you: navy, black, shocking pink, purple, taupe, burgundy, charteuse, red, white, gray, chocolate brown, blue, forest green, blueberry.

two more, whew, for warm undertones

Spring skin: golden undertone, ivory, ivory with pale golden freckles, peach, golden beige, rosy cheeks. Hair: flaxen, golden, strawberry blond, auburn, golden brown, red-black, golden gray. Eyes: blue with white rays, clear blue(brown flecks), aqua, bright blue(turquiose, light brown, clear green, teal. Colors that suit you: golden brown, camel, peachy pink, ivory, marine blue, bright green, aqua, tangerine, cream peach, soft blues, golden yellow, periwinkle, coral, turquiose, soft yellow, jade.

last but not the least, Summer! Skin: blue undertone, pale beige(pink cheeks), pale beige, very pink, rosy or charcoal brown freckles, gray brown. Hair: platinum & ash blonde, dk bworn(taupe tone), brown(auburn cast) blue-gray, pearl white. Eyes: blue(brown around pupils), gray blue, gray-green, pale gray, blue(white flecks)-green(white flecks) hazel, bright clear blue, clear pale aqua, soft brown. Colors that suit you: soft blues, navy plum, lavander, ice beige, slate gray, taupe, dusty coral, rose pink, mauve, rose-brown, blue-gray, sea blue, raspberry, pale green, sea foam.
